ภาคตะวันออกและภาคใต้มีฝนตกต่อเนื่องและมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง ส่วนประเทศไทยตอนบนมีฝนฟ้าคะนองและลมกระโชกแรงบางพื้นที่ เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นแผ่ปกคลุมภาคเหนือตอนบน ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน และทะเลจีนใต้ ส่งผลให้มีลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากทะเลจีนใต้และอ่าวไทยเข้ามาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคกลางตอนล่าง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล ภาคตะวันออก ในขณะที่ร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านอ่าวไทย และภาคใต้ตอนกลาง สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณภาคใต้ระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนัก และฝนตกสะสมที่เกิดขึ้นต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลากในพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ชาวเรือควรเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง รวมทั้งหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
The monsoon trough lies across the Gulf and the middle South while the high-pressure system from China covers the upper North, the upper Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the southeasterly wind bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower Northeast, the lower Central region including Bangkok and vicinity and the East. Continuous rain with isolated heavy rain are forecast in the South while isolated thundershower with gust are likely in the upper country. In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves will be higher than 2 meters high in thundershower areas.
People in the affected areas should beware heavy rains and accumulated rainfall that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should keep off thundershowers.
