A flood alert has been issued. River levels are rising steadily in response to recent heavy rainfall. Flooding is possible this afternoon and into this evening, 23/09/2024. Areas most at risk are around the River Great Ouse from Newport Pagnell to Roxton. Further rainfall is expected this afternoon and into this evening hours which will keep river levels high for the next few days. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, 24/09/2024.
