WHERE: Portions of north central and northeast New Mexico, including the following areas, in north central New Mexico, East Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Espanola Valley, Far Northwest Highlands, Jemez Mountains, Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Tusas Mountains Including Chama and Upper Rio Grande Valley. In northeast New Mexico, Far Northeast Highlands, Johnson and Bartlett Mesas Including Raton Pass and Union County.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- A near-record to record surge of moisture combined with a storm system moving across northern New Mexico will continue to bring numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall. Combined with already rain-soaked soil, there is a moderate to high risk of flooding.
- Low-lying, poorly drained, and/or urban areas will be most susceptible to flooding. Rivers, arroyos and streams will see rises with fast flows. Minor flooding is possible along rivers. Recent burn scars may see flash flooding, including the Frijoles burn scar.
