At 821 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

- Some locations that will experience flash flooding include, Madison, Hamlin, Chapmanville, Spurlockville, Gill, Harts, Julian, Ranger, Danville, Mud, Palermo, Alkol, Woodville, Yawkey, Griffithsville, Turtle Creek, Myra, Sweetland, Foster and Jeffrey.
This includes Route 119 between mile markers 35 and 61.
