Instructies:

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

In eastern Arkansas, Monroe. In southeast Arkansas, Arkansas, Bradley, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Jefferson and Lincoln. In southwest Arkansas, Calhoun, Dallas and Ouachita.

  • WHEN: Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

    • The potential exists for heavy rainfall to develop across the watch area early Saturday morning. Rainfall amounts between 1-3" of rainfall are possible in the watch area.
