When combined with higher than normal humidities, this results in heat indices from 95 to 100 degrees for much of eastern Kentucky during the afternoon. There is only a small chance for showers or storms to provide limited and localized relief today. Try to limit time outdoors today during the afternoon, when heat illness is most likely to occur. If going outdoors, drink plenty of fluids and take breaks out of the sun.
