IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 515 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain causing standing water in Paxico. Flooding is ongoing over parts of northern Shawnee County. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area.
This warning will replace the Flash Flood Warning for Shawnee and Jackson counties set to expire at 6 pm.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Wamego, Rossville, Alma, St. Marys, Silver Lake, Hoyt, Maple Hill, Alta Vista, Mayetta, McFarland, Paxico, Belvue, Emmett, Denison, Delia, Willard, Keene, Potawatomi Reservation and Volland.
