- Hot, dry, and windy conditions will develop over the northeastern Wyoming plains this afternoon. Afternoon humidities will drop to 10 to 15 percent with west to southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph, gusting up to 40 mph. A few isolated showers and storms may develop over the area in the afternoon. Any storms may produce lightning along with gusty and erratic winds and be accompanied by little to no rain. The combination of the dry and windy conditions along with dry fuels will support widespread critical fire weather conditions.
