IMPACTS: Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 646 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that the coverage of heavy rain producing showers was decreasing across the advisory area. However, minor flooding is likely ongoing in the advisory area due to the 1 to locally 2 inches of rain that fell overnight.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Palatine, Des Plaines, Mount Prospect, Wheaton, Hoffman Estates, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard, Bartlett and Streamwood.

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
