WHERE: Portions of Illinois, including the following counties, Cook, De Kalb, Kane, Kendall, La Salle, Lee and Will and northwest Indiana, including the following counties, Lake IN and Porter.

WHEN: Until 1100 AM CDT Sunday.

IMPACTS: Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. High water likely may recede slowly from flooded areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 1058 PM CDT, local law enforcement, emergency dispatch centers, and highway departments reported flooding across the area. While heavy rainfall has ended, some flooding will be slow to recede. Some streams may continue to rise over the next few hours.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Hammond, Gary, Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Romeoville, Plainfield, Calumet City, Portage, Merrillville, Valparaiso, Oswego, Chicago Heights, Chicago Lawn and Roseland.

IMPACTS: At 12.5 feet, Most areas outside of the levee-protected area are inundated in Hammond and Munster.

- At 7:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.2 feet.
- Recent Activity: The river has rapidly rose above flood stage.
- Forecast: The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It is then expected to fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
