IMPACTS: Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded.

- At 308 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Scattered showers with torrential rainfall will continue to move over the area this afternoon. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Chicago, Joliet, Hammond, Gary, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Romeoville, Plainfield, Calumet City, Portage, Roseland, Englewood, South Shore, East Chicago, Burbank and Lansing.
