Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK QUEENIE will continue moving slowly in the next 12 hours as it turs north northeastward. On the forecast track, the center of QUEENIE will exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between tomorrow afternoon and evening. Outside the PAR, it will accelerate northeastward towards the sea south of mainland Japan. This tropical cyclone will intensify further while moving over the sea south of Okinawa Islands. After reaching its peak intensity, QUEENIE will begin to weaken by Monday (28 September).
