Communities most likely to be impacted include Karluk and Larsen Bay. People in sensitive groups or with respiratory ailments are encouraged to stay indoors and reduce outdoor activity to avoid inhaling the ash. Strong winds will continue through at least Tuesday morning, which means resuspended ash will likely remain a threat until then.
