Moderate rainfall will continue this morning before the rain slowly tapers off later this afternoon. Rainfall rates of up to a quarter of an inch per hour are possible through 10 AM today, with a storm total between 3 and 4 inches of rain likely with this event. Prolonged heavy rain may lead to areas of flooding along smaller streams and creeks, in low-lying and poor drainage areas, and ponding of water on roadways.
