- At 137 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Kansas City, Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown, Liberty, Gladstone, Grandview, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, Parkville, North Kansas City, Mission Hills, Sugar Creek, Buckner, Riverside, Lake Lotawana and Weatherby Lake.
