พยากรณ์อากาศ 24 ชั่วโมงข้างหน้า ประเทศไทยตอนบนยังคงมีฝนฟ้าคะนอง กับมีลมกระโชกแรง ลูกเห็บตก และฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยเฉพาะบริเวณภาคเหนือ และภาคกลาง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และทะเลจีนใต้ ประกอบกับมีลมใต้และลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากอ่าวไทย และทะเลจีนใต้เข้ามาปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศไทยตอนบน ในขณะที่บริเวณดังกล่าวมีอากาศร้อน สำหรับภาคใต้มีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง เนื่องจากลมฝ่ายตะวันออกที่พัดปกคลุมอ่าวไทย และภาคใต้มีกำลังแรงขึ้น ส่วนบริเวณอ่าวไทยมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 1 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนอง กับลมกระโชกแรง โดยหลีกเลี่ยงการอยู่ในที่โล่งแจ้ง ใต้ต้นไม้ใหญ่ สิ่งปลูกสร้าง และป้ายโฆษณาที่ไม่แข็งแรง รวมทั้งระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนัก และฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม สำหรับเกษตรกรควรเสริมความแข็งแรงให้ไม้ผล และเตรียมการป้องกันความเสียหายที่อาจเกิดขึ้นกับผลผลิตทางการเกษตรและสัตว์เลี้ยง อีกทั้งดูแลรักษาสุขภาพในช่วงที่สภาพอากาศเปลี่ยนแปลง ส่วนชาวเรือควรหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
The high-pressure system from China covers the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea with the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country where hot weather occure. Thundershowers with gusty winds, hails and isolated heavy rain are likely in the upper country especially in the North and the Central regions. The easterly wind prevailing over the Gulf and the South is strengthening with heavy rain in the South. The wind and wave in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershower.
People should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards including beware of the heavy rain and accumulated rain that may cause flashing floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals danger. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weather. All ships should keep off thundershowers.
