Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles under any circumstances as vehicle interiors can reach extreme temperatures in as little as 10 minutes. Locations next to the ocean or glaciers will be cooler with a stronger breeze in the afternoon.
