บริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคกลาง รวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ตอนบน จะมีสภาพอากาศแปรปรวน โดยมีลักษณะของฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง และมีลูกเห็บตก กับมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง รวมถึงอาจมีฟ้าผ่าเกิดขึ้นได้บางพื้นที่ สำหรับภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือมีฝนลดลง ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคกลางตอนบน และทะเลจีนใต้แล้ว ประกอบกับลมตะวันออกและลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากทะเลจีนใต้และอ่าวไทย เข้ามาปกคลุมประเทศไทยตอนบน ในขณะที่มรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน และประเทศไทย สำหรับทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทย บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองจะมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
