The western portions of the Flood Watch are expiring as rain continues to move eastwards over the next few hours. The areas most susceptible to flooding continue to be where heavy rain fell earlier this evening, mainly the southeastern to eastern Twin Cities metro, greater Mankato area, and portions of Goodhue County.

  • WHAT: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

  • WHERE: Portions of Minnesota, including the following areas, Anoka, Benton, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Washington and Wright and Wisconsin, including the following areas, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix.

  • WHEN: Until 1 AM CDT Wednesday.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
