IMPACTS: At 17.0 feet, faster flows are expected along the river but no flooding occurs. Interests near the river and near Mohawk Park should continue to monitor later forecasts. At 18.0 feet, minor flooding occurs at Mohawk Park and along 56th Street North near Mingo Road.

- Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening near or over far northwest Arkansas in the vicinity of a boundary. Slow-moving and/or training storms in a moist environment will have the potential to drop locally heavy rainfall totals, on the order of 3 to 7 inches. With soils fairly saturated, most of this rainfall will be runoff and lead to quick onset flash flooding.
