Separately, thunderclouds currently over the Savannah and Northern regions are expected to spread into the Upper West and Northeast regions, bringing cases of rain and thunder tonight.
Residents in all affected communities are strongly advised to stay indoors and avoid open areas during the event. Motorists should reduce speed, switch on headlights, and exercise extreme caution on roads, as reduced visibility and surface flooding are likely. Parents and guardians are urged to ensure children are safely indoors before the storms arrive.
