ประเทศไทยจะมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้นและมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยมีฝนตกหนักมากบางพื้นที่ในภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ประกอบกับร่องมรสุมได้เลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านประเทศเมียนมา ภาคเหนือตอนบนของประเทศไทย ประเทศลาวตอนบน และเวียดนามตอนบน สำหรับคลื่นลมที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังแรงขึ้น โดยทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนฟ้าคะนอง รวมทั้งฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสมในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง เรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งจนถึงวันที่ 3 ก.ค. 69
The moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening while the monsoon through will move down to lie across upper Mynmar, the upper North of Thailand, upper Loas and upper Vietnam. More rain and isolated heavy rain are forecast in Thailand and isolated very heavy rains are possible in the East and the South(west coast). The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea will strenghthen are expected about 2 - 3 meters high, and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. About 2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People in the country should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore.
