ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Strong south winds will push water toward the coast, resulting in elevated water levels and high surf. The first of 3 peaks in water levels occurred with high tide late this morning. Water levels at the next high tide, between 9 PM and 3 AM tonight are expected to be about half a foot higher than this morning's high tide. Water levels will then trend back lower with the high tide Friday morning, between 8 AM and 11 AM.
