The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Red Flag Warning for lightning, which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM MDT this evening.

At 607 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a gust front along a line extending from near King Hill to near Salmon Falls Dam. Movement was northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD,Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

IMPACT,Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility.
This gust front will be near, Buhl, Hagerman, Bliss, and Castleford around 610 PM MDT. Gooding, Wendell, Filer, and Rogerson around 620 PM MDT. Twin Falls, Jerome, Kimberly, and Rock Creek around 630 PM MDT. Hansen, Eden, Murtaugh, and Minidoka National Monument around 640 PM MDT.
