IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn scars.

- An area of showers and thunderstorms will develop into southwest Utah this evening. The period of heaviest rainfall potential will be overnight especially after 9 PM MDT this evening through the early morning hours on Thursday. Flooding at night can be especially dangerous and hard to see if driving at night.
