Some locations that will experience flash flooding include, Lawrence, Eudora, Perry, Meriden, Lecompton, Clinton, Lone Star, Pleasant Grove, Williamstown, Clinton Lake and Perry Lake.
This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 189 and 205.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible behind these thunderstorms.
