A short lasting but moderate to briefly heavy in intensity snow will occur mainly north of U.S. Highway 30 through 1 A.M. The snow in any one location will last less than 90 minutes, and in some locations less than 30 minutes. But it will be heavy enough for sharply reduced visibility and occur at cold enough temperatures to result in a quick coating of snow. Allow extra travel time and use heightened caution if traveling in this portion of eastern Iowa and far northwest Illinois, including along U.S. Highways 20 and 61. Leave plenty of distance behind the vehicle in front of you.
