ประเทศไทยมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่งบริเวณภาคเหนือ และภาคกลางรวมทั้งกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล โดยมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางพื้นที่ในบริเวณภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคกลาง และภาคตะวันออก เนื่องจากมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามันตอนบนและประเทศไทยมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง ประกอบกับมีหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมาก และฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม รวมทั้งดูแลรักษาสุขภาพในช่วงที่สภาพอากาศเปลี่ยนแปลงไว้ด้วย ขอให้ชาวเรือในบริเวณดังกล่าวเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง ส่วนเรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่ง
The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea and Thailand while the low pressure cell covers upper Vietnam. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the North and the Central including Bangkok and vinicity while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the Northeast, the Cenral, the East and the South (west coast). The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are expected to be about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
