ร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านตอนบนของภาคเหนือ และประเทศลาวตอนบน เข้าสู่หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณชายฝั่งประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน และอ่าวตังเกี๋ย ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามันตอนบน และประเทศไทยตอนบนมีกำลังปานกลาง ลักษณะเช่นนี้ทำให้ภาคเหนือ และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบนมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง ส่วนภาคใต้มีฝนฟ้าคะนองบางแห่ง
ขอให้ประชาชนระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่มไว้ด้วย ขอให้ชาวเรือในบริเวณดังกล่าวเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวังและหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
The monsoon trough lies across the upper part of the North of Thailand and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea and upper Thailand with isolated heavy rains in the North and the upper Northeast regions while isolated thundershowers in the South.
People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships in the upper Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas.
