ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The first of two significant winter storms will move over the region beginning early Sunday morning. Precipitation is expected to start as snow for most locations, with less than one inch of snow possible. Expect snow changing to freezing rain by Sunday afternoon with up to two tenths of an inch of ice possible, especially from Sleetmute to Crooked Creek and across the Kuskokwim Delta coast. Precipitation is expected to taper off Monday morning from Bethel east. A light wintry mix may continue along the Kuskokwim Delta coast Monday morning into Monday afternoon.
