ประเทศไทยมีฝนฟ้าคะนอง และมีฝนตกหนักบางพื้นที่บริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคกลาง และภาคตะวันออก เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านตอนบนของภาคเหนือ และประเทศลาวตอนบน เข้าสู่พายุโซนร้อน “นาร์รา” บริเวณอ่าวตังเกี๋ย ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังค่อนข้างแรงพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบน มีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนอ่าวไทยตอนบน มีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง พายุโซนร้อน“นาร์รา” บริเวณอ่าวตังเกี๋ย มีแนวโน้มจะเคลื่อนขึ้นฝั่งบริเวณตอนใต้ของมณฑลกว่างซี ประเทศจีนในช่วงวันที่ 24-25 สิงหาคม 2569 โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย จึงไม่ส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อลักษณะอากาศของประเทศไทย ขอให้ผู้ที่จะเดินทางไปในบริเวณดังกล่าวตรวจสอบสภาพอากาศก่อนออกเดินทางในช่วงวันดังกล่าวไว้ด้วย
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลัน น้ำป่าไหลหลากและน้ำล้นตลิ่ง โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง เรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย
