Severe heatwave conditions have eased in the Wide Bay and Burnett district, but low intensity conditions are expected to continue. Locations likely to be impacted include Barcaldine, Clermont, Hughenden, Moranbah, Rockhampton, Richmond and Winton.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, damaging winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Dalby, Ipswich, Kingaroy, Gatton, Jimboomba, Coolangatta and Caboolture. Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Maranoa and Warrego district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.
