Meteo EXPO 2023 with great presence

meteoblue attended the yearly Meteo Expo for the 12th time: with presentations, our «one stop shop for precision weather» stand and a record number of stand visits.

From 03-05-October 2023, meteoblue presented our unique "one-stop-shop" stand at the Meteo Expo in Geneva, Switzerland. We counted more than 1000 visitors, had more than 100 personal and project discussions and gained great insights into the needs and lives of our customers and of the meteorological community. To contribute with future solutions, we presented the meteoblue "High-resolution air temperature forecast for urban heatwave management" System, which helps making future cities more comfortable, and is also summarised in the interview of our CEO (see "meteoblue" ).

We learned about new needs for high accuracy weather forecast, including mining, satellite data interference and wildfire prevention amongst many others, as well as for long-range climate data for risk assessments, and for downscaling techniques to discover local micro-meteorological conditions. We also learned how to serve our customers even better - with our global coverage, unique time range, unique data range, top accuracy and easy access to largest and most accurate weather dataset in the industry.

Many of our customers and suppliers were excited to revisit us, and expect to see us again in 2024.

Our aims are high: Many thanks to the organizers of this events and all contributors, for the joining in the progress of the meteorological industry, which is now vital to keep many parts of our economy alive.
