  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

    • Multiple rounds of storms will be moving through the area again today through Saturday morning. An additional 2 to 4 inches of rainfall with locally higher amounts will be possible, enhancing the flash flood threat.

Wolf River Above Gulfport affecting Harrison County.

For the Wolf River,including Landon, Gulfport,Minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHAT: Minor flooding is forecast.

  • WHERE: Wolf River above Gulfport.

  • WHEN: From Saturday evening to Tuesday morning.

  • IMPACTS: At 9.0 feet, Bells Ferry Road will be impassable with deep water on the east bridge approach.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 4.2 feet.
    • Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
    • Forecast: The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.3 feet Sunday evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
    • Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
