IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

- Heavy rain will occur this evening into tonight, with additional showers and some thunderstorms on Tuesday. Rainfall of 2 to 4 inches, with 3 to 5 inches in the eastern Catskills, combined with already saturated grounds will result in the potential for flash flooding. Some rivers may reach minor flood stage as well, especially along the Esopus and Housatonic.
