Friday (18 July): Quezon, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, Camiguin, Zamboanga del Norte, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Islands, and Davao Region. HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters: Up to 2.5 m: The seaboards of Palawan, Negros Oriental, and Zamboanga del Norte. Up to 2.0 m: The seaboards of Occidental Mindoro, Antique, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Bohol, Camiguin, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Islands, and Davao Region. Mariners of motorbancas and similarly-sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK Tropical Depression CRISING will move generally west northwestward to northwestward over the entire forecast period. It is closest to Northern Luzon by Friday (18 July) evening and may pass close or make landfall over Babuyan Islands. A slight change in the succeeding forecast track may also suggest a landfall scenario over mainland Cagayan. CRISING is forecast to reach Tropical Storm category by tomorrow (17 July) morning. It is forecast to continue intensifying over the Philippine Sea and may reach Severe Tropical Storm category by Friday afternoon or evening, prior to its approach to Northern Luzon area. Further intensification up to Typhoon category prior to approach is not ruled out.
