WHERE: Rio Grande at Columbia Bridge.

WHEN: From Saturday morning to late Sunday night.

IMPACTS: At 30.0 feet, or 9.1 meters, major lowland flooding occurs. Water is several feet deep over most of the mall and customs parking lots. The lowest residences are threatened and roads and low bridges become very dangerous.

- At 7:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 8.5 feet (2.6 meters).
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet (4.9 meters).
- Forecast: The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 29.1 feet (8.9 meters) early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet (5.5 meters).
