ประเทศไทยมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้นและมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง โดยมีฝนตกหนักมากบางพื้นที่ในภาคเหนือด้านตะวันออก ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน และภาคตะวันออก เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านภาคเหนือตอนบนและภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน เข้าสู่พายุดีเปรสชันบริเวณชายฝั่งประเทศจีนตอนใต้ ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังค่อนข้างแรงพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร อนึ่ง หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำกำลังแรงบริเวณชายฝั่งประเทศจีนตอนใต้ ได้ทวีกำลังแรงขึ้นเป็นพายุดีเปรสชันแล้ว และมีแนวโน้มจะทวีกำลังแรงขึ้น คาดว่าจะเคลื่อนเข้าใกล้เกาะไต้หวัน ในช่วงวันที่ 2 – 3 กันยายน 2569 ขอให้ผู้ที่จะเดินทางไปบริเวณดังกล่าวตรวจสอบสภาพอากาศก่อนออกเดินทางด้วย โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ควรหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางผ่านเส้นทางที่มีปัญหาน้ำท่วมซ้ำซาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลุ่มต่ำซึ่งอาจเกิดน้ำท่วมขังในระยะสั้นได้ ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนอง เรือเล็กบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนควรงดออกจากฝั่งในระยะนี้ไว้ด้วย
The monsoon trough moves down to lie across the upper North and the upper portion of the Northeast into tropical depression over the coastal south of China while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rain and isolated heavy rains are forecast in Thailand while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast and the East regions. The rather strong winds force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
