IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 801 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall of up to 0.5 to 1 inch is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Mescalero, Bent, Elk Silver, Apache Summit, Mud Canyon, South Tularosa Canyon, Portions of US Highway 70 between Apache Summit and the Otero-Lincoln County Line and Bear Canyon.

- A late season plume of deep tropical moisture is transported northward ahead of an upper-level disturbance, bringing several rounds of thunderstorms with high rainfall rates to the region through this evening. Repeated thunderstorms will result in scattered to numerous instances of flash flooding with some considerable cases. This morning is the most likely time to see excessive rainfall. Rainfall amounts around 2 inches are likely with isolated amounts of 4 inches or more.
- Central Dona Ana County through southeastern Sierra County are most likely to see the heaviest rainfall through Wednesday morning.
