- A moderate to at times heavy snow band has prevailed since about midnight over a portion of southwest into south central Iowa. While no accumulations are known at this hour, webcams have shown a snow or slushy accumulation on some roads in that portion of Iowa. This band has had a sharp cutoff of snowfall on the northeastern edge. Those that have been and are under this snow band should expect impacts to travel conditions for their morning commute.
