At 1053 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and lightning. This thunderstorm was located near Little Peconic Bay, moving northwest at 25 knots.

At 1053 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and lightning. This thunderstorm was located near Little Peconic Bay, moving northwest at 25 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.

- At 1013 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain capable of causing minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that could experience flooding include, Riverhead, Southold, Mattituck, Southampton, Westhampton, Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, Noyack, Shelter Island, Shinnecock Hills, East Hampton, Peconic, Hampton Bays, East Quogue, Flanders, North Sea, Cutchogue, Aquebogue, Jamesport and Water Mill.
