Maximum temperatures in the high thirties to low forties, increasing to the mid forties over the southeast. Overnight minimum temperatures in the mid to high twenties. Severe heatwave conditions are expected to expand and intensify over large areas of the south of NT over the coming days before easing from early to mid next week. Severe heatwave conditions have eased over the Gregory district.
