Locally extreme fire weather conditions are possible over highlands of the central mountains, where wind gusts in excess of 50 mph are expected. Very unstable conditions are possible, particularly across the central mountains and the Rio Grande Valley. In the wake of the upper level trough on Sunday, winds will trend weaker but remain strong enough critical fire weather conditions across the Central Highlands.
