FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM PDT TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING
- WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
- WHERE: A portion of Southwest California, including the following areas, San Diego County Coastal Areas, San Diego County Mountains and San Diego County Valleys.
- WHEN: From 5 AM PDT Tuesday through Wednesday evening.
- IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. The San Diego River at Fashion Valley and the Santa Margarita River will both have flow and reach monitor stage. Low water crossings in and around Fashion Valley may flood.

- Widespread moderate to heavy rain is expected Tuesday morning, becoming periods of showers through late Wednesday. Rainfall rates of 0.50 to 0.60 inches per hour are expected in lower elevations with rainfall rates up to 0.70 inches per hour on the mountain slopes. Additional rain falling on already saturated soils will likely produce rapid runoff, resulting in local flooding. Heavy rain resulting in flooding in the mountains below the snow level. Snow levels will be at 6500-7000 ft for much of the day Tuesday, falling to 4500-5000 ft by Wednesday morning.

- WHAT: Large breaking waves of 4 to 8 feet. Occasional sets 9 to 12 feet.
- WHERE: San Diego County beaches.
- WHEN: From 2 AM Wednesday to 9 PM PDT Thursday.
- IMPACTS: Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.

- WHAT: South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 45 to 55 mph expected, becoming southwest.
- WHERE: San Diego County Coastal Areas, Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills, Orange County Coastal Areas and Orange County Inland Areas.
- WHEN: From 6 AM to 10 PM PDT Tuesday.
- IMPACTS: Strong winds could damage trees and other objects. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
- ADDITIONAL DETAILS: South winds will turn southwest and weaken temporarily after frontal passage late morning, then increase from the southwest once again in the evening but not quite as strong as the morning winds.

- WHERE: Coastal Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican Border and out to 30 nm and Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican Border Extending 30 to 60 nm out including San Clemente Island.
- WHEN: From 5 AM Tuesday to 9 AM PDT Wednesday.
- IMPACTS: Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
- ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Highest gusts around 45 kt will be near the coast Tuesday morning.
