A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots and/or seas 10 feet or higher are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
The second of two atmospheric rivers will arrive this evening and last into Tuesday. Although area rivers are likely to remain below flood stage, wind has caused tree debris to fall to the surface. With additional rainfall and wind expected, urban drains may become clogged, and standing water and minor flooding is possible.
