If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Recent observations and traffic cameras show fog developing over inland portions of Virginia. Currently, the lowest visibilities are from I-95 and points to the west. Fog is expected to expand further and become more widespread closer to sunrise with visibilities between a quarter and one half mile. Visibilities could drop below a quarter mile at times.
Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the areas of dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds, watch for children at school bus stops, and use low beam headlights only.
