  • WHERE: Portions of central, north central, northeast, northwest, and west central New Mexico, including the following areas, in central New Mexico, South Central Mountains. In north central New Mexico, East Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Far Northwest Highlands, Jemez Mountains, Northwest Highlands and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains. In northeast New Mexico, Northeast Highlands. In northwest New Mexico, Chuska Mountains and Northwest Plateau. In west central New Mexico, West Central Mountains and West Central Plateau.

  • WHEN: Through late tonight.

  • IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

    • Heavy rainfall impacted the southern portions of the Hermits Peak-Calf Canyon wildfire burn scar Wednesday and Wednesday night with flooding already being observed yesterday. This will exacerbate the flooding threat over the burn scar today and tonight.
