- At 1100 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of around 0.5 inches are expected over the area during the next 90 minutes.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include, Richmond, New Kent, Charles City, Highland Springs, Roxbury, Mechanicsville, Virginia Commonwealth University, Chester, Virginia Union University, Downtown Richmond, Talleysville, University Of Richmond, Bon Air, Tuckahoe, Bottoms Bridge, East Highland Park, Bensley, Bellwood, Adkins Store and Providence Forge.
