Oficiální vysvětlení varování:

A flood alert has been issued. Groundwater levels in the Bourne Valley are high but slowly falling. During the last week, 22mm of rainfall was recorded at Andover, and groundwater levels fell by 1.9m at Vernham Dean, and 6cm in Upton. Residual flood water may still be affecting cellars in Upton and Hurstbourne Tarrant. Tankering of sewerage is expected to continue over the next few weeks. From today (08/05/2024) to Sunday (12/05/2024), high pressure with more settled, drier weather is expected across Hampshire. We expect groundwater levels to continue slowly falling. If you have pumps to help reduce water levels, please ensure that they are operating. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. This Flood Alert will be updated by 18:00 on Wednesday 15/05/2024.
