ประเทศไทยตอนบนจะมีฝนเพิ่มขึ้น และมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมจะเลื่อนลงมาพาดผ่านประเทศเมียนมา เข้าสู่หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณประเทศลาวตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้กำลังปานกลางยังคงพัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทย สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังปานกลาง โดยมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร ส่วนทะเลอันดามันตอนล่างและอ่าวไทย มีคลื่นสูง 1-2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ขอให้ประชาชนในบริเวณดังกล่าวเตรียมพร้อมระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนักและฝนที่ตกสะสม ซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่เสี่ยงใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม ขอให้ชาวเรือบริเวณทะเลอันดามันและอ่าวไทยเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และหลีกเลี่ยงการเดินเรือในบริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองไว้ด้วย
The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the monsoon trough lie across Myanmar into the low-pressure cell over upper Laos. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in upper country. The moderate wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People should beware of heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
